Purpose
麻豆区 is committed to the safe and proper handling, storage, and disposal of all waste generated at 麻豆区. These plans and policies are written to provide the management process for hazardous, universal, and medical waste in compliance with the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and 40 CFR Part 260 for hazardous waste, Rule 299 and 40 CFR Part 273 for universal waste, and requirements set forth in Part 138, Medical Waste Regulatory Act (MMWRA), of the Michigan Public Health Code, 1978 PA 368 for medical waste.
