This free & confidential Mindfulness Meditation group, offered through the Center for Counseling and Wellness (CCW), teaches Calvin students to decrease feelings of stress, sadness, and loneliness through the practice of mindfulness.
The group is facilitated by Dr. Irene Kraegel and meets for 7 weeks on Tuesdays (4-5:15pm) from September 30 through November 18 (skipping October 21), with the expectation that students attend all scheduled sessions for maximum benefit. All new students will complete a screening appointment prior to joining the group, for the purpose of addressing any questions and ensuring that the group is a good fit for the student's goals and needs. The group will close to new participants after October 7.
