Hugh & Eve Meeter Calvinism Award (Discontinued)

Update on the Hugh & Eve Meeter Calvinism Award

For many years, the Hugh & Eve Meeter Calvinism Award recognized outstanding research papers on John Calvin or Calvinism by high school seniors planning to attend a select group of Christian colleges. The award funds were applied directly to student tuition accounts at participating institutions.

After careful reflection, the Meeter Center has made the decision to discontinue this version of the award program. While this marks the end of a long-standing tradition, it also opens new doors: the funds previously designated for the award will now be redirected to support a broader range of educational initiatives and programming that align more closely with the Center鈥檚 evolving mission and long-term goals.

We remain deeply committed to encouraging young scholars to engage with Reformation history, and we are grateful for the support and partnership of institutions like yours in nurturing thoughtful Christian scholarship.

If your website, print materials, or internal resources mention the Hugh & Eve Meeter Calvinism Award, please update them to reflect this change.

If you have any questions or would like to explore future opportunities for collaboration, feel free to reach out. We value your continued partnership in advancing Reformation scholarship.
