1 Corinthians 10:31 reminds us: Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. Whether you’re studying art education or biology, creative writing or data science, what you pursue here matters to God. So it matters to our community.

Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends: You are a part of the greater fabric of our Calvin campuses. And you are a part of this great big world that God created as good, and is actively renewing.

As president, I commit to serving Calvin by cultivating the great mission happening here, as we step into the next chapter of the university’s story—together.
