Season 92: 2025-2026

Mark your calendars for our auditions for the 2025-2026 academic year!

24 HOUR THEATRE



Registration deadline: Friday, September 19 at 1:30pm
Kickoff Event: Friday, September 19 at 7:30pm in the Lab Theater (lower level of Spoelhof University Center)
Performance: Saturday, September 20 at 7:30pm in the Lab Theater (lower level of Spoelhof University Center)

Looking for writers, directors, actors, and stage crew! All levels of experience welcome!

Do you have an interest in theatre? Have you ever wanted to write an original play? Think you would like to direct a show? Do you have 24 hours to spare? 24 Hour Theatre is for you! Groups of students write, rehearse, and perform original 10-minute plays in 24 hours or less, with a free public performance starting exactly 24 hours later. (Saturday, September 20 at 7:30pm.)
 

FALL SEMESTER AUDITIONS



Auditions for Peter and the Starcatcher (comedy with music) and Eleemosynary (drama)
September 11 and 12 at 6:30pm in the Lab Theatre (lower level of Spoelhof University Center)

No monologues needed! 
Auditions will consist of theatre games, with readings from the scripts at callbacks. (Callbacks are by invitation only.)

Eleemosynary, a Lab Series production, directed by Skye Herlien, senior theatre minor
Casting 3 female roles
Starts rehearsals on September 29, with performances on November 14 and 15

Peter and the Starcatcher, a Main Stage production, directed by John Scritchfield, Creative Director and Visiting Lecturer of Theatre
Casting 10-12 actors, all genders considered for all roles
Starts rehearsals on November 10, with performances February 6-14
 

SPRING SEMESTER AUDITIONS

Auditions for Bye Bye Birdie (musical comedy)
January 21-23, time and location to be announced later this fall

Auditions will consist of a vocal and dance audition, with readings from the script at callbacks. (Callbacks are by invitation only.)
Additional audition details to be announced later this fall.
Bye Bye Birdie rehearsals start January 26, with performances April 10-18
