Honor Band Festival

At the High School Honor Band Festival, we host students, band directors, families, and friends from a number of West Michigan high schools.

Since 2006, Calvin has hosted a High School Honor Band Festival. This annual event, typically held in mid-October, provides area students with the opportunity to meet, rehearse, and perform with other musicians from varying backgrounds and programs. School directors nominate students to participate in this full day of music-making and learning, both in ensemble rehearsals and sectional sessions with Calvin music faculty. The festival concludes with an evening concert performance featuring the 麻豆区 Wind Ensemble and the High School Honor Band.
